E’ Natale, da fine ...ottobre. Le lucette si accendono sempre prima, mentre le persone sono sempre più intermittenti. Io vorrei un dicembre a luci spente e con le persone accese." (Charles Bukowski)

The experimental installation targets distribution and is curated by the Veneto & Trentino Alto Adige Delegation of ADI-Industrial Design Association, with the collaboration of Giulio Cappellini and coordination of architect Silvia Sandini.
In this exhibition are present Liberi in cucina, the project for free standing stainless steel kitchens that may be configured to fit any space and taste.
Side by side, lined up against the wall, or facing one another within the space, or even used as an island, the modules, which range in length from 70 to 280 cm, offer an ample range of solutions, allowing the kitchen to evolve over time, by progressively adding new features, changing its own configuration as its needs and requirements grow, or accompanying the inhabitants to new spaces and new situations. They are built in 19/10 nickel chrome stainless steel with Corian®, wood or steel top.

1961/2011 Cinquant’anni di saper fare italiano attraverso il premio Compasso d’Oro ADI
The assignment of the Special Mention of the ADI Compasso d’Oro Award, the most famous and sought after Award on an international scale since 1961, sees Marmomacc earn yet further important recognition alongside the previous Business Research selection published in the ADI Design Index 2010.
The International Jury appointed by ADI, comprising eight members and chaired by Arturo Dell'Acqua Bellavitis, met last 31 May to examine the projects on show and, in assigning a Special Mention for the XXII edition of the Gold Compass Award to Marmomacc, highlighted how an Exhibition dedicated to a single material can achieve important heights through a series of cultural initiatives embracing design, architecture and exhibits in which fundamental certainties are also ensured through the value of education and training.
The “Made in Italy and National Identity” exhibition held in the Pelanda will host all the projects involved in the competition until 25 September and is part of the “Uniqueness of Italy” organised by the Valore Italia Foundation value for the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Unity of Italy.

Casabella in collaboration with Marmomacc presents "Designing and building with the stone" curated by Livio Salvadori and Evelina Bazzo.
Francesco Dal Co, director of Casabella, and Mauro Albano, brand manager of Marmomacc, present the special monographic insert "Designing and building with stone" attached to Casabella of March and dedicated to natural stone - marble, stone, granite, agglomerates - and their use in architecture and design.
Through a sequence of services, the insert provides an updated overview of the possibilities of expression, composition, performance and applications currently available in that fields; this pubblication represents a necessary moment for the designer to better interpret the aesthetic qualities and technical characteristics of these materials.
The insert is realized with the contribution of Budri, CMC - Consorzio dei Marmisti della Valle del Chiampo, Kreoo by Decormarmi, Franchi Umberto Marmi, Grassi Pietre, Lithos Design, Pedrera, Pibamarmi, Regione Puglia - Sprint Puglia, Trentino Sprint.
