TECNO OLD

Tecno has been synonymous with Italian design ever since its formation in the early 1950s.

The company's founding and management by brothers Osvaldo and Fulgenzio Borsani, their determination to extend Italy's unique heritage of style, culture and quality to international markets, and deep rooted design traditions in which continuous industrial innovation is seen as the obvious response to the need to develop products and make them available to a larger number of users have made Tecno one of the leading worldwide exponents of Italian style.

This ability to "explore the frontiers" between art and industry has allowed Tecno to attract some of the most prestigious Italian and international names in the field of design and to contribute to interiors like that of the Norman Foster's British Museum and Jean Nouvel's Agbar Tower in Barcelona, by providing custom designs that blend traditional craftsmanship with the most modern engineering techniques.

In 2014 Umbrella starts collaborating with Tecno about media relations and public relations.
